Food: Had the steamed Thai dumplings, beef pad thai, and beef Thai fried rice. Dumplings were juicy, and beef fried rice was tasty and on par with other compatible Thai restaurants. The pad thai noodles were on point, no critiques there.
Bottom line up front: excellent food, fast service, reasonably priced food.
Overall: if you're after quick, decent Thai food at a good price then this is the place to go. Keep in mind they're closed on Tuesdays.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Columbus! The food is excellent, and, in my opinion, the best Thai food in town. It's authentic, and they have all of the traditional staples of Thai food plus much more! I highly recommend it!
We always get the Thai tea and our favorite dessert is the mango sticky rice. Plenty of good options for main course meal but our favorites are the Pho Rare or Pad Thai.
Service: Fast. Appetizer came out in about 5min, and the main course came out by the time we finished the dumplings. Fast and friendly.
The waitresses are always great, really couldn't ask for better service.

We have been going to Golden Bowl since moving here. It was always so excellent. It had been a couple of months since we ate there. Went back recently and the food and service has changed. The wait person was not personable at all. Knowledge of the menu was of unfamiliarity. Our glasses were never refilled. The wrong food was brought to us and we were the only people there. So unsure what happened on that front. The portions of the food brought out (the wrong order was taken back) were quite small and when our actual order finally came out, those portions were very small, as well. Some of the food appeared to be some of the wrong order that was added into our food, as well. I'm sure we will give it another go. The dining experiences we have had here in the past have been wonderful. We are hoping this experience was just a fluke. Otherwise, we would give 5 stars. We are hoping this was just a one time fluke.
Our favorite place to eat! The Pho is amazing considering no one else around does it, even comparing it to the Pho around Atlanta it's good.
Read the reviews and decided it was time to try the Golden Bowl. I am not sure what went wrong with our order, but it was nothing to be proud of. The Chicken Satay was dry, the calamari was ok, but 6 small pieces for $10 was too much for the quality. We ordered the Pad Thai Chicken and the chicken was so dry we could not stick a fork in it, also the same for Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice. Spent over $60.00 which would not have bothered us if the food had not been so bad. We did do take out, but we have done so with many other restaurants and the food was great. Sorry we went there, also sorry I could not give you a better review. On the plus side, we did get some really nice take out containers.
Update: the teriyaki chicken is awesome, much better than the other places. Comes with cabbage and carrots with rice and extra sauce on the side. It goes together so well
