This gym has changed my life significantly since joining 2 years ago. I could name so many ways Relentless has changed me for the better. Physically I am in the best shape I have been ever in my entire life. I view health in a whole new way. I have made the best relationships with everyone here- they are pretty much a second family to me. Emotionally I have gotten tougher. I have grown to be so much more confident in myself and learned what hard work and dedication really looks like. The coaches here will really push you to your limit and help you individually understand the concepts and techniques to be better, because they GENUINELY care about you and want you to succeed. Because of the way Jiu Jitsu is taught here as well as being taught how to strike (which has been a struggle let me tell you), I am now more than capable of defending myself in a self defense situation. That's something I could not say two years ago. Relentless is ABSOLUTELY one of the best mma/jiu Jitsu/striking gyms in the area & I HIGHLY recommend you check them out for yourself. It will change your life!
We signed my boy up a yr ago bc he loves to fight with me. After watching him for a few months I decided I wanted to learn jiu jitsu myself. Now my whole family is enrolled in their programs and we love it. The coaches our awesome and go beyond just teaching you how to fight. Coach Jake and Wes even take the time to teach kids some real life stuff about bullying and when it's appropriate to fight. I could go on a lot about the gym but until you join and experience the family atmosphere you might not understand it completely.
While I did enjoy meeting new people, especially the instructor who motivated me to take the classes, I was sad when I had to go. Upon attempting to cancel my membership I discovered that it takes 30 days and a certified letter to someplace in Florida to cancel. How convenient that it takes 30 days and that I was to be charged for another month of membership before my 30 day process took effect. They also double charged me this past month, even after having a conversation with the young lady on the phone to clarify that it was just one payment due on the 15th. She over drafted my account by charging me two months of membership instead of one. Just a heads up about the issue of canceling a membership. I thought I could just call and speak to someone and cancel the membership instantly, not have to pay for an extra months membership while waiting 30 days for the process to be completed.
